Harbor Launch at IMET

Harbor Launch at the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET) is an incubator for early-stage companies working to promote the development of products and services having a positive impact on the environment and human health.

Incubator companies can leverage IMET’s world-class researchers, whose work includes marine bioenergy; environmental sensor development; environmental remediation; developmental biology; marine biomedicine; molecular and cellular systems and sustainable urban ports and ecosystems.

Harbor Launch also connects incubator companies with the resources (people, facilities, etc.) of its partner institutions (UMCES, UMBC, and UMB) and the University System of Maryland.
