MBIA enables it’s members to exchange best practices, share resources, collaborate on new opportunities to support business growth, and increase awareness of the role entrepreneurs play in growing Maryland’s Innovation economy.

Which Membership Is Right For Your Organization?

• Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESO). ESO Membership is open to any entity that provides structured programming for and/or offers office or lab space specifically to early stage entrepreneurs within Maryland. Each ESO member is permitted to include up to two ESO staff members under their MBIA membership. 
• Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Builders (EEB). EEB Membership is open to any entity, including but not limited to those involved in the development and promotion of the Maryland Entrepreneurial Ecosystem such as economic development organizations, government institutions, and industry associations. Each EEB member is permitted to include up to two EEB staff members under their MBIA membership. 
• Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Supporters (EES). EES Membership is open to any entity that shares an interest in the success of the Maryland Innovation Ecosystem and supports MBIA’s Mission and Objectives, including, but not limited to, professional service providers and angel networks and venture capital firms. Each EES member is permitted to include up to two EES staff members under their MBIA membership. 
• Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Individual Supporter (EEIS). EEIS Membership is open to any individual who shares an interest in the success of the Maryland Innovation Ecosystem and supports MBIA’s Mission and Objectives. EEIS membership is not transferable.
